はじめに、オーストラリアでの日本軍の「痕跡」(「巨大な悪(immense evil)」とは、日本軍「慰安婦」、虐殺(Massacre)、戦争捕虜、原爆投下について)、シンガポールでの日本軍の「痕跡」(「血債の塔」、シロソ砦、旧フォード工場跡、チャンギ博物館、シンガポール国立博物館)、なにが問題か(日本政府の対応、歴史認識・国際社会認識の重要性、リー・クワンユー氏の発言から、おわりに)。
