植民地末期朝鮮の戦時統制経済下で、朝鮮語新聞『毎日新報』に見られた統制経済違反記事を考察したもの。日中戦争開始後に導入された物価統制策に対する違反行為として、商人達の暴利をむさぼる行為、生活必需品買い占め、不良品販売が行われ、配給統制政策が導入されると、露天商や行商、一般人による配給物資の闇取引、町会や愛国班の配給担当者の不正配給などが行われた。厳しい統制経済によって生活環境は悪化し、経済犯罪が頻発するしかなかったと論じている。
