小赤頭に関する基礎的整理―史書および尚家文書432号『跡目僉議』の分析から―

はじめに、小赤頭に関する基礎整理、『跡目僉議』に現れる小赤頭、おわりに。 首里王府において、元服前の諸士の子弟が務め、最終的には王府の管理職にのぼっていく職名である小赤頭について、これまでの歴史資料にみられる設置経緯、職掌、定員などについて整理し、「尚家文書」の『跡目僉議』(相続に関する判例集)を読み解くなかで小赤頭の総数と割合を算出し、その職掌と着任状況をより明らかにしている。
