はじめに、連雲港市博物館蔵「琉球鑪」、地方志に掲載された「琉球鑪」、毛朝玉等の漂着とその後の経過、おわりに。〔以下、採録者による解題〕1816年に八重山から首里王府へ向かった毛朝玉等が大風で中国江蘇省海州に漂着した事例と、後に毛朝玉が謝礼として贈ったとされる「琉球鑪」(現在、連雲港市博物館所蔵)の紹介。
